Krista Pantana Dempsey founded Pantana Accounting & Tax, Inc. in January 2002. Over more than 30 years in public accounting, she has worked with hundreds of individuals and small to mid-sized business owners. Her focus has always been the same: giving clients highly personalized tax, accounting, and financial advice.

Krista believes the right technology helps business owners strike a better balance between time and money, and she works to keep the firm on the leading edge. She has been a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2000 and has held the Advanced Certification since 2007, which lets her help clients get the most out of QuickBooks while saving both time and money.

Krista’s approach reflects the firm’s core values: Service, Integrity, Expertise, and Collaboration.

Personal

Krista grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia, and earned her B.S. in Accounting from Liberty University in 1995. She moved to the Atlanta area in 1996.

Krista lives in the Acworth area with her husband, Clay, and their son, Alec. The family is active at Wildwood Baptist Church in Kennesaw. They’re big Georgia Tech fans and can usually be found watching or at the game during football season. Go Jackets!

What song do you sing along with in the car? Honestly, any song I kind of know! If I know even half the words, I’m singing along, usually butchering the lyrics with total confidence.

How would you spend a free afternoon? At the spa, or somewhere by the beach or pool, soaking up the sun with a frozen drink in hand.

What’s a book, movie, or TV show you enjoyed recently? I’m a big Dry Bar Comedy fan. Clean stand-up is my go-to when I need a good laugh after a long day.
